| Additional Information |
Delirium was commissioned by the Mary Flagler Charitable Trust for for Newband and includes some of Harry Partch's original microtonal instruments. The performers are: Stefani Starin, flute; John Whitfield, cello; Margaret Kampmeier, synthesizer; Dominic Donato, diamond marimba; Bill Ruyle, boo; Nina Kellman, harmonic canon; and Michael Lipsey, kithara II. The flute, cello, and harpsichord(synthesizer) act as a concertino, navigating through a sea of Partch instruments, like a flute sonata run amok.
