* Jessica Lustig’s background encompasses both music and business. After receiving a BM in oboe performance, she entered the music business at Columbia Artists Management working with conductors. In 1990 she joined the Bertelsmann Music Group, where during her six-year tenure at BMG Direct, she moved from copywriter to director of the classical division, responsible for classical business unit revenues of nearly $50 million and strategic planning for the division. After finishing her MBA in Marketing and International Business at New York University, she founded 21st Century Music Management, Inc., which was the only consulting company in the United States concentrating exclusively on living composers and new music performance. In January 2000, 21st Century Music Management merged into a new business, 21C Media Group, with co-founders Albert Imperato and Glenn Petry.
